I would say the best value hotels are Flamigo, Ballys, and Harrahs. Great location, and very reasonable rates. |

THere are some great offers around that have made otherwise unaffordable hotels affordable, that aside in my view Excalibur is the best all round budget hotel, it is not the cheapest but it is the cheapest for a nice room in a good location in a fun resort and rooms start at $24. Dont believe what you read about it being full of kids I have never seen that.

I personally like Luxor and New York New York. Both have pretty good deals, and their rooms are nice. |

I've stayed in a few budget accommodations on the strip. The Stratosphere was the best value for money and wasn't too far from all the action of the 'Strip'. It's located on the strip just a few blocks away from many of the main hotels and casinos. If you are looking for one in the middle of the big hotels, I've found some great deals at Treasure Island and also at Excalibur and Luxor.
I did a lot of researching online and found that the comprison websites gave the cheapest results. |

I would say Excalibur, Tropicana, or Circus Circus. |

Weekdays you might as well stay in a casino.Casinos undercut their rooms in the hope that you will gamble, so they are usually lower than the cheapest budget motels. Harrah's Imperial Palace (IP) and Bill's Gambling Saloon are usually the cheapest on the strip, although I wouldn't stay in the Capri rooms at IP. Excalibur is very inexpensive.

If it's a weekend and prices are high Terrible's Casino (about a mile off strip) is very inexpensive. It's right across the street from HArd Rock. |

what is reasonable priced. to som 400 a night is reasonable to others $100 a night others want $39 dollar room and players want free or comp rooms. I think imperial palace and bills are cheap but you do get what you pay for even at the center strip which to me is the best location or one of the best when your in vegas (when i say best I dont include high-rollers but this is reasonable price reality). for a few more dollars you can try flamingo and harrahs and with the economy mirage and treasure island are offering low rates. try to use www.kayak.com or www.expedia.com to find the best deals (then check that casino's website) if you have a players card check with them. |

Mandalay Bay, MGM and Luxor are fine e.g. You get the best price if you book directly with the hotel website. In addition you can use a hotel promo code from http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com in order to lower your room rates. |

the cheapest hotels i know on the strip are circus circus (great if u bringing along kids) and stratisphere, but those are near north of the strip, all the good hotels are in middle and south of strip. Circus Circus is decent but i dont know if u mind seeing alot of children. |
