The Financial Capital of the World (Sorry London)

The Entertainment Capital of World -- this the Hollywood of the East Coast

The Sports Capital of World -- litterly every sport is played here.

The World's Capital -- NYC may be home to the UN, but the real United Nations is the city itself. Out of the 8.5 million people living in NYC, 40% of the population was born outside of the United States.

Governors Island was formelly tradepost during American Revolutaionary War and World War. It also used to be for military base until National Park Service open first time for public.

It is called Dairy because Central Park was originally farm where people milk cows.

Museums
Metropolitan Museum of Art is most famous attraction with lots of sculptures, paitings from all around the glove, with medial treasury continues in Fort Tryon Park, Cloisters, branch of Metropolitan Museum of Art separated and MET was star in film for "From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler".

Ellis Island Immigration Center Museum was originally checkpoint for immigrant that arrives to Manhattan and they have to take test and they have to have new names. If they did not pass the test, they were sent back.

American Museum of Natural History contains information about cultures around the world just like MET, but it has great skeletons from during the long time ago. It also has great Big Bang show which is free and only 15 minutes. There are fee special exhibitions and space show is one that is very expensive. This museum was film in "Night in Museum."

Empire State Building and Top of Rock is famous for observation deck.
Empire State Building has NY Skyride called Motion Screen Simulator.

New York Duck Tour (formelly New York Splash Tour) is famous for great tours of NY with both land and water experience.
Big Taxi Tour open-double-decker is famous for cheap price than other competitors like Grayline and CitySightNY.

Shopping
5th Avenue is street that famous for expensive shopping in Midtown area with many stores and restaurants.

Palisade Center, prefer to as Palisade Mall in West Nyack, NY is one of largest malls in USA and it measure 2nd largest mall in USA.
Galleria at White Plains is a large enclosed urban shopping mall that located in downtown White Plains.
Both malls are famous for shopping, eating.

CircleLine is famous sightseeing cruise in past.

New York Waterway is commuter ferry and famous sightseeing tour.

New York Water Taxi is also famous for tourists than commuters.

Libraries
Humanities, Reference and Research Library of New York Public Library at 42nd St & 5th Av are famous for landmark for tourists and it feels like statue lions are protecting this landmark. It was also feature in "The Whiz", etc."

Firehouse
Ladder Company 8 located on 14 North Moore Street between Varick St & West Broadway are famous movie star as part of Ghostbusters I, II and III and this firehouse is name after the movie.

Broadway Musical and Plays like Rockfeller Rockets, Little Mermaid, etc attracts many tourists and people.

Manhattan is famous for traffic congestion like on 5th Av from 62nd to 57th Sts, it sometimes take like 20 minutes.
