What is a good/cheap hotel to stay at in Disney? |
I am going to Disney World in Orlando in June and was just wondering what some good, affordable hotels are. So far I was leaning to the Radisson Worldgate ... is it close to disney, especially downtown disney? And is it a nice/ clean hotel? Any other hotel recommendations are appreciated. |

Definitly the Pop Century Resort. It is a value resort--which means it ranges from $86-141 dollars. That's not bad at all, considering what you get for it. The rooms usually have two queen beds, and some are joining rooms, which is pretty cool. It has the "Endzone Restauraunt" inside, and a pretty cool arcade and lobby. All of the statues are so mezmorizing to look at, i could just stay around and stare forever:) Also, theres three pools, the bowling pin, the hippy dippy flower pool, and the computer pool. It is divided in different sections: the 50s,60s,70s,80s,90s. Its super cool because every section involves something that was new in the generation. Also, the bus transportation is great because the other three "value" resorts share a bus, whereas the Pop Century bus has it's own. Also, it includes the Disney Magic Express, which is transportation to and from the airport(MCO).
This is an extremely clean hotel. Havent seen bed bugs ever, and the bathrooms are neat. The service is great, and provides towels, soap, cups, ect.

If you're planning to go to Disney World I would suggest Disney's Pop Century Resort. It is only about $82 per night and they give your transportation around the Walt Disney World Resort and to your hotel from Orlando International Airport free.
Here is Pop Century's Website:

Are you a camping person? Disney Worlds' Fort Wilderness Resort has been consistently voted the #1 campground in America, and it deserves the designation. A lot of people have been known to go to the campground and never visit the parks, because there's so much to do in the resort. And the price is right, too!
Have a great trip! |

Visit tripadvisor.com a free site with reviews and links to hotels in Orlando and around Disney. Type in Orlando to the search box and the forum there will have all the info you need and much more from real people not the hotels managers. Have fun. |

if you are going to disney then here are some helpful saving tipss.
1. stay on the grounds. if you stay on the grounds you can stay at a value resort($82 a night) and its the same price as a hotel off grounds. also if you stay on the grounds you can get the meal plan. and free transportation. theres also moderate($149 a night) and deluxe($240 a night).
2. Get the meal plan. this saves you so much money. you only can get this plan if you stay on the grounds. the meal plan is 40 dollers per person per day but this is a money saver with out a doubt. because with this you get a sit down, a snack, and a over the counter. The sit down will usually cost you about $250 for a family of four and an over the counter about $150 for a family of 4 thats if you dont get the meal plan.
3.if you stay on grounds you also get extra magic hours this means you can stay later and go early then other people and you can get on more ridesss. cause theres usually no line. (:
4. transportation is amazing there. the buses come about every 20 minutes usually every 10 minutes and they are labeled to where they are going and they take you there. they run all day. and there comfortableee.
hopeee i helpped.
also, heres a website if you want more information on everything

Well technically that is not "in disney". The value resorts that are actually inside WDW are All Star Music, All Star Movies, All Star Sports and POP Century.
Right now Disney is offering specials on their value resort for 65-85 per room per night

Check out http://mousesavers.com
They have objective reviews of hotels and many discount offers to several of them.
Also be sure to compare all prices. Offsite hotels often have hidden fees (resort fees, parking fees at the hotel, parking fees then at Disney). Plus, in June, as long as you book by 3/29, Disney is offering a buy 4, get 3 free deal for stays 5 nights to 10 nights. |
