All the states in US are beautiful, it all depends what you are looking for. If you like metropolitan areas with a lot of noise and people, art and museums and all the excitement, then cities such as New York, Chicago, San Fransisco, and Seattle are good. If you want to live in the suburbs then New Jersey is nice (the nature), Maryland is good too. I like Arizona, I find it very peaceful. Tennessee is affordable, and Las Vegas is fun all night long ! |

New Jersery i'd have 2 stay, its the most expensive state, and shopping is great. the people called"New Jerseyans" are so nice. Shorhills mall rocks. iF u already live in NJ, u wud know. I dont see why people like california so much, i really don't think its great. |

If you like the party lifestyle, Fort Lauderdale or Miami, FL
If you want a laid back small town, where there is hardly any crime and is very quiet - Vinton, IA |

Minnesota again.
We have the highest ratings in Education, our scenery is beautiful, out of the cities we have very low crime rates, there is good employment available and the Twin Cities offer fun and culture if that's what you're into.
I complain a lot about living in Mankato, but if you are 21 or older it can be a lot of fun. It's a college town with a lot of bars and pizza parlors, but we also have fun little quirky shops and we are about 1 hour or 2 hours away from the cities so it's not that hard to go clubbing or shopping at the MOA! (mall of America, heck yes we have that! Soon to be the biggest mall in the world!) |

Minnesota.
Because you experience all FOUR seasons, not just 1 or 2.. lol. Of course, all the lakes (10,000 +).. camping, bike trails, hunting, fishing, etc. The Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) are great cities with a vibrant feel to it.. such as dining, nightlife, sporting events, theatre, art.... |

a nice state to live in is the one you are in right now but not where you are right now. move up north to at least the sacramento area. i have lived in 5 states, traveled through most of the others and none of better than northern california. |

Rhode Island is a nice place to visit. Newport is beautiful. Providence is a great city and very close to Boston or New York by train. |

Western Washington.
As to which city.. that depends on what you're looking for. Greater Seattle and Eastside are nice, but costly and traffic can be frustrating. Kitsap County and the Olympic Peninsula are particularly beautiful and quite affordable compared to California.
Pretty much anywhere in Western Washington is nice. You'll experience four distinct seasons and can drive to nearly any climate you desire on any given day. |

All states have their own unique features but since you didn't want to mention my beloved CA, I'll leave it at that. What are you looking for in a place? |

Yep. Colorado is the place to be. So much so about a million of your people came here in the 90s. You still see bumperstickers here that say, "Don't Californicate Colorado." The truth is that while there is a nativist sentiment in Colorado most people don't mind the economic growth newcomes bring.
The thing we hate is when you try to bring your silly liberal politics. Colorado is a very conservative, evangelical state. James Dobson and Focus on the Family left California for Colorado a decade ago because he saw how much more Colorado was in line with his ideas than California.
If you're looking for a nice, church-going, family-friendly, young, outdoorsy city then look to Denver. It's got fine weather, beautiful mountains, nice museums and zoo, and, of course, great people. Just remember that Coloradans get suspicious of Californians mainly because we see the mess your politics has made of your state and we fear that's happening to our's. |

The state of Blood Bought, Born Again, Spirit Filled, Saved By Grace and Free in Christ.. it is just yummmy and there is no better place on earth.. The beauty of it, once you have it, is that no matter where you are there it is. |
