I have always heard the term Chi-Town, but I can honestly say that nobody that lives here that I know ever really calls it that. In fact, we that live here don't really use nick names at all that I notice. We just call it Chicago.

The Windy City (interestingly, not because it's particularly windy - Boston is actually America's windiest city - but a nickname given in the 1800's to make fun of the politicians here, who in the view of a newspaper writer were "a bunch of windbags.")
