Begin planning now, go to www.waltdisneyworld.com and set up a vacation staying in one of the value resorts. I recommend the Pop Century. You will have to put 200 dollars down but then you can make monthly payments. You will save money by purchasing the dinning plan and you can schedule meals 180 days before your arrival. Disney World is expensive, but worth every cent spent. |

-look for discounts and package deals on tickets
-dont stay at a disney hotel, find a nearby one for a lottt cheaper
- go to a grocery store and pack your lunches for the day instead of paying $15 a person for a meal
-try not to pay for little fees and stuff |

I know it wont help but option 1 is 'dont go in the summer' .. everything goes up at that time of year. Orlando is super hot in the summer and you might find all your energy sapped.
Best thing to do is to settle for a 'cheap' flight ... uncomfortable yes but it will save you money and then use the local 'travelodge' style hotels out there if you can (book before you go) to keep the accommodation costs down.
You can buy 'used' disney passes out there that have time left on them and these are cheaper than brand new ones.
Eating out is a winner since buffet restaurants like Golden Corral will keep your dining costs low providing you are not expecting top of the range cuisine.
The one piece of advice I can give you is DO NOT get lured into the Eurodisney advertising spiel .. it is a themepark in France .. it is NOTHING like the US experience and you will waste your money. |

I am sorry to say, there is no inexpensive way to do Disney. Those words are oxymoronic.
We are going again in April and this time, We have a very nice 2 bedroom condo that we are not paying for,a friend is letting us borrow there's.But it is the only condo on Disney prop not owned by disney, so they have a shuttle, Praise God!
However, I just priced the tickets and for 7 days, with 2 adults and an 8 year old; (with the park hopper option (b/c we may want to go to epcot during the day and catch Fantasmic at MGM that night, so we need this addition, and also adding the (sorry I can't remember the verbadge), but the water park pass as well,): the tickets for us came up to about 950.00. That was just to get in! NO food or DRINKS
I remember Bottled water costing about 2.00 the last time we were here, keep your bottle and fill it up at the fountains. The "fast food," not only is not good but XPENSIVE! 7.00 for a hamburger that's not good and comes with NOTHING isn't CHEAP to me.
Then, if you decide to take your vehicle, if you are not eligibale to take the shuttle, You have to pay from 10.00 to 20.00 (I believe) just to park! It is vast and you are so far away from the entrance that in itself is a hike.
From a personal standpoint, I added everything up, and the next time we go we will probably stay on property, b/c of all of the added expenses. Also we have been enough to know that there is really nothing that good to eat that warrents that amount of money, so we go off property for a good dinner.
The only thing that we splurge on is the Character breakfast, which you have to make reservations for (up to 180 days in advance) and my two favorite are Chef Mickey's, with the Mickey characters and Chip and dale and also the Crystal Palace inside of Majic Kingdom with Winnie the Pooh characters. Expect to pay about 25-35 per adult (yep for breakfast) and 15 for a child.
My biggest recommendation to you is to go to the local bookstore or maybe even the library and pick up the UNOFFICIAL guide to Disney, and they have one for adults, traveling with children, traveling with disabled people, and traveling with Senior Citizens.
That all being said, it is one of the most fun places we have ever been. If we could afford it we honestly would go every year! And, my husband and I enjoy is as much as if not more than our child.
So, Have FUN!
Should you like to write me feel free
Sorry I wrote too much and the spell check is taking too long so if I have misspellings, please forgive me.' |

The term "inexpensive Disney" is a bit of an oxymoron.
While the prices of tickets at Disney is the same all year, summer is the "low" season for the rest of Orlando. If you start shopping now, you should have no problems finding deals on hotels, rental cars and anything NON-Disney in the area. Those hotel & motels along International Drive & up around the Orlo Bronson highway drop rates to encourage visitors. Be sure to use those coupons books found everywhere in Orlando.
BE ADVISED; Summertime in Orlando is HOT, air temperatures will be in the 90's & its the rainy season. Not everyone wants to walk around the parks in that kind of heat with a bunch of kids. ...Also, while things will be cheaper that doesn't mean things will be cheap. It just means it won't cost as much as durning prime season, which is Christmas & spring break. Finally; There is no guarantee that airfares are going to drop this summer due to the high cost of gas. The price of gas may offset any savings you make elsewhere.
Hope this helps. |

Disney prices are fixed so to have a cheap holiday its the rest of the package you have to look at. I suggest cutting costs by renting a large house with another family or 2 ( and hope you all get on together) and share the cost. The same goes for car rental. Then if you plan ahead carefully you can save money by not going to the parks and make up a tour of your own. We had a great day by parking free a Downtown Disney and using the WDW transport system to take a look at all the hotels. Bus and boat to Contemporary Resort and Wilderness lodge. Monorail to Grand Floridian and bus to the Boardwalk and Fantasia golf. Also buy your food and drink away from the parks to save a fortune. We buy a disposable cool box each time we holiday in Orlando and fill it with supermarket bought goodies to last us the day. I worked out this saved me over $40 a day for my family. Thats over $560 saved on food and drink alone. |

Fly into Sanford with First choice, book a car from an english company before you go and then stay at the Golden Link Motel on the 192 in Kissimmee.
Disney does not do cheap, however if you go from the second week of Sept, you can get good deals on Busch, Seaworld and the universal parks... All of which are better than Disney.... |
