They are both very good and have different things which make them the best making the choose very hard. I love sea world and think its one of the best parks anywhere. But if you are a disney fan you really have to see that.
The better value ticket is universal. There rides are excellent as well. they also have the new water park opening at sea world in March and that looks awesome. Sea world is not part of universal but is included in some tickets.
I am sure whichever you do you will have an awesome time. |

I think Disney is better. I think that bang for your buck you get more out of Disney than Universal. Universal is all about thrill rides. If I wanted only thrill rides I would go to Six Flags near my home or go to Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH. WAY better rides and much cheaper. Universal was pretty expensive to get into, and for what we paid I was really disappointed. The parks themselves were not very clean, the people working seemed like they wanted to be anywhere else but working at Universal, and they were pretty rude in my opinion.
I think Disney has much more to offer, not only in the sheer size of the resort but the perks they offer to resort guests, the dining plan and so much more. I have never had a bad time or an issue with anything from the Disney resorts. I vote for Disney. In fact I loved going so much my wife and I bought into the Vacation club! Best investment I have ever made. |

Walt Disney World is better in my opinion. There is definitely much more to do: Four parks as opposed to two. Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure has more coasters, but Disney is a truly unique experience. I'd reccommend it to anyone! |

This is really a matter of preference. I'm a former Disney annual passholder and a current Universal passholder. I'm local and have been to both dozens of times. I love both, but personally I am a Disney fan. Not necessarily because I prefer the rides or attractions, but it's the Disney atmosphere that I like the most. It all depends on the rides and attractions that you like best. |

Disney is much bigger, and therefore, has more to offer. There are four park as opposed to Universal's two parks. At Universal, Islands of Adventure is a good thrill park. But I can and have easily visited every ride in the park in just a half-day. At Universal Studios - ehhh, it's ok but not great. Mostly outdated rides, and a few cute shows - but when you have seen them once, I don't really have the desire to see them again. I usually go one day to Universal and visit both of their parks - and I do everything I want to do.
Disney I can spend a week at and still not do it all. The trade-off is that Disney does not have very many thrill rides, but they have so much more! |

I think that Disney is better!! I have been to both several times and i love Disney!!! It is not that Universal isn't fun because it is very fun! I love Disney though because there rides have more stories behind them! Disney is also way bigger. There are all kinds of rides at Disney they vary!!! They have kiddie rides and they have more mature rides!!! I think that Disney is better and if you are going to either place i hope that you have fun. |

I have been to Disney World 3 times and going again this summer. I worked with a women that has 2 boys and she too had been to Disney but chose Universal for a vacaction one year. When she got back she said Universal was a lot better than Disney. But last year my 12 year old daughter's gifted class went to Universal on their field trip. We spent 3 days there and we both enjoyed it very much. But I have to say that there is something about Disney. Guess it's the so called "magic". It's bigger also. So, I would have to say Disney is better but Universal is definetly worth going to also. |

I prefer Universal because its got better rides. The rides in Islands of Adventure are great and Universal is great if you like movies :) |
