As a New Orleanian born and raised I would have to say: plantations, the mississippi river, crawfish, oysters, copeland's, zatarain's, Mardi Gras, Decadence Festival, the oldest still operating all girls school in the US, Ursuline Academy my alma mater, the Battle of New Orleans and Andrew Jackson, the Huey P. Long bridge, jumbalaya, seafood gumbo, red beans and rice, poboys, beignets at Cafe du Monde, the French Quarter, cajuns, creoles, zydeco, Beausoleil, Riverboats, Bourbon St., Tabasco and Crystal sauce from Avery Island, remoulade sauce, the Super Dome, streetcars, John J.
