Depends on what you like to do. If you like to ski two of the funnest places are:
1. Telluride Colorado

2. Taos, New Mexico

Florida.
I don't live there, just visited. But there was alot to do, and you'd be out of the snow and cold, if that's what you want.
If you want snow and cold, go to a ski resort in Colorado. |

I would vote for Lake Tahoe California that time of year. Snow ski during the day, play at the Casinos at night. Drive over to Reno for a day, or Carson City. Visit the set of Bonanza. Hike, snowmobile, take a dinner cruise on the lake. For the time of year you are going, Lake Tahoe is my vote. Spectacular place. |

western Washington has arguably the best scenery in the country, with the Front Range of Colorado up there too. |

I'm not from the USA but I've always wanted to go to...
New York - Fashion, Statue of Liberty, Time Square, Central Park
Florida- Beaches, Disneyworld, Sea World
California- I want to experience the Hollywood lifestyle (:
Boston- Where my relatives live
Arizona- Grand Canyon
Nevada- Vegas
Chicago- Looks nice
Texas- Looks fun
If you have time, maybe you could go to Mexico or The Bahamas or something. |

Somewhere simple, not crowded.
Tennessee, or North Carolina.
If you're wanting a winter experience, go somewhere snowy like Colorado. |

Airline - you are on your own there. That part of the year is the most hectic to fly. To visit, I would say any of the Western states - they are so very different from most of the US (Unless you are from there) and there is nothing like Monument Valley or the Grand Canyon. Maybe try Santa Fe New Mexico..?
California is also an excellent state to visit. Stay around Los Angeles or San Francisco = tons to do |

It depends on what kind of entertainment you're looking for. We're a very topographically and culturally diverse place. |
