Nobodys mentioned Colorado, sun, skiing, scenery, a lot of americans are apparently moving to this state for all it has to offer.
Im english but enjoyed the place and met many yanks from other states that had moved there.

I agree - California - great weather and lots of variety. Big cities, small towns, mountains, beaches, deserts, - any sport you enjoy, culture, wine, food, pretty much everything in one state.

California.....why else would I live here? We have hot weather and the beautiful ocean on the west. Also snow and the mountains on the east. We have the best of both worlds.

i like florida for the weather and the keys and it is well known for orlando (disney) and miami

i like arizona for the weather, desert, grand canyon and tombstone

I'm fond of Ohio, the birthplace of aviation. The Wright Brothers were born in Dayton, and invented the first airplane, which they flew in NC. Ohio has many very nice state parks, including the one near my hometown of Cambridge, Salt Fork. Lots of great hiking, pretty beach at the campground, lovely trails, geocaching, hunting, wildlife, great birding (bald eagles and osprey), plenty of antiquing in the area, lots of good food, and really friendly people. There is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, the Football Hall of Fame in Canton, COSI in Columbus, great zoos in Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati, and a cute little one in Akron. Nice art museum in Dayton, wonderful music everywhere, and The Wilds, North America's only breeding area in a natural, serengeti-like atmosphere built on old reclaimed strip mines, for endangered grazing animals from around the world. The Longenburger Basket Company is in Dresden, near Zanesville. I could go on and on, so come see for yourself.
