i hear Excalibur is great

Vegas is great for kids if you want them to see hookers and ads for hookers. I dont understand why adults want to take kids there. Dont get me wrong, as an adult i go 4-5 times a year or more but wouldnt take my kids there if it was free

If they're into sci-fi there is the new Star Trek themed oneLas Vegas is now more family oriented...not just for gamblers and adults anymore

MGM is also a good "kid" location. The Luxor also.

Every casino/resort in that city has some sort of kid attraction. Don't miss the Luxor, they have an awesome arcade and virtual reality rides. New York New York also has some neat kid's activities. There are lots of rollercoasters in town too.

i plead the fifth
mandalay bay they have an aquarium, shopping mall and a waterpark also the new york new york has a rollercoater and a huge arcade

Vegas gave up trying to be Disney west, Circus Circus has the amusement park and Excalibur used to have family type stuff.

Country Girl for Life
Why would you bring you kids to a place like vegas? Just what I would want to expose my kids to pimping, prostitution, gambling and strip joints. Sounds like a great family vacation to me. Good Luck with that.

Suggestions for Kids in Vegas: Visit Red Rock to go hiking and see natural desert, visit Mt. Charleston for cooler air, trees, and great hiking. You can also take the kids to Circus Circus for free shows and lots of games on the midway. New York New York can be fun because it has a "Coney Island" with a roller coaster and games. The Sahara hotel has a popular roller coaster and a NASCAR cafe. Also check out the "beach" at Mandalay Bay and the Sharks are there to view too. The Venetian has some cool museums including the Guggenheim and Madame Tussuad's Wax Museum. Finally, there is the IMAX theater where they can see a movie in 3-D at...... and the best show with dinner is at the Excalibur where they see knights fight it out on horseback and everyone eats a dinner like Medieval times with their hands(you can ask for silverware)....dinner includes a cornish hen, potato, roll, veggie, and yummy pastry dessert.

nas88caror 300 09? way to go BK!
Aladdin or the Rio not really to much for the kids i know at one time there was a water park on the strip

In the 90's, Las Vegas tried this new concept of "family friendly" and what they realized was that everyone was hanging out with their kids and not gambling, so they raised all the prices of food, entertainment etc. Now the Las Vegas Bureau of Gaming is trying to re-define Las Vegas as a hip high rolling party scene. The hotels that were once built to be child friendly (Mirage, Treasure Island) and now shying away from that idea. TI changes its name, and added a new burlesque bar to their agenda. What I am trying to say is Las Vegas Casino Hotels ARE IN NO WAY children friendly. I go to Vegas about 9 times a year, and kids are definitely not welcome. Men on the streets will hand your child "pornography cards", there are obscene bilboards on vehicles...and children are not allowed in the casino floor. You can walk through (some...Bellagio and Wynn do not allow any children at all, unless they are a hotel guest). Your best bet is to go somewhere else, or go to a non-gaming hotel, like the four seasons. I am sorry this is such a downer, but I am speaking the truth.
