I would say Texas. The people(well most of us)are laid back, down home southern hospitality folks. Most of them will do anything to help out thy neighbor or anyone in need and we are not all hung up on ourselves. We know how to kick up our boots to a good ole country swing and we are not affraid to get them a little dirty neither. |

Depends on what you want to do, and how you're set for money.
Probably Hawaii if money is no object. Massachusetts if you need to be on welfare. Alabama if you're okay with an entry-level job for the rest of your life. |

Any where but, Minnesota. If you don't freeze to death in the winter you will be eaten alive by mosquitoes in the summer. |

Arkansas! not the hillbilly state it's the Land Of Opportunity =D or yeah California or New York, but those are for people who like big crowds I suggest you start like with a normal state like the Southern or Northern states (if you are new to America) then after you have settled into everything (not rushing into the excitement of all the spending and non-making cash) Then move to a bigger state such as California or New York. =D |

My personal opinion is Virginia. There are mountains as well as beaches. The winter isn't too cold, but you do see some snow. And the summers aren't scorching, but are they nice and hot. Also, there are lots of historical things to see and experience such as Jamestown, the homes of all the Presidents from VA, and Washington, DC which is extremely close. There are big cities and small, little country towns. Basically, anything you could want, you can find it in Virginia. |

I know that the city that was rated best to live in of 2007. Was in Wisconsin. Don't choose New Jersey, though. |

i would have to say NewJersey,
because in the summer you have the beach, the waterpark, the boardwalk, and the amusement parks..
in the fall/autumn you have still not cold weather, football games, leaves turning color, and weather start to get cold in early november..
in the winter you could have a day with 50-65 degrees, and the next day with 10 degrees and 8 inches of snow..
and in the spring, it is abs. gorgeous, with flowers blooming, hot weather starting to come
and the best part is, is that it all happens over and over and it doesn't stay hott for too long, cold for too long =)
best place in the world! |

Well it depends what you like, if you like sunny most of the time, California or Nevada or Arizona is best. But it you like snowy try Colorado or New York, it all depends what you like, weather, # of people, and lots of other things, research states and look for things you like in them.
Hope i helped :) |

New York. ;o
Everyone relates New York to snow and high taxes. And that's true, but NY is a really beautiful place to live. Nice scenery especially the south.
The seasons are actually really balanced and not too drastic. |
