State of euphoria.
Actually a survey of sorts was done maybe 15 years ago that measures all sorts of quality of life issues, such as educational facitilites, recreation, commuting, jobs, pollution, a whole long list of issues that make a difference in peoples' lives. At that time the best state to live in was either North or South Dakota.
I think California and Florida are about the worst. |

I would say New Jersey since this is where I live, but we have such high taxes! In the mid-US where there aren't many people and where there aren't many taxes and a low driving age! Most people retire in Florida because there aren't many taxes, so Florida? It's also such a beautiful state with a lot of beaches. |

Texas is a wonderful state to live in. It is big and has just about everything you could ask for. The people ar friendly. Small town Texas life is great. You know your neighbors and are friends with them. In small Texas towns crime is low because everyone knows everyone and they look out for each other. |
