What is the best state to live in the USA? |
I'm single and am looking to grow my business and live in the USA. I'm looking for a hip and trendy, non-expensive city, lush areas and fantastic warm and sunny weather all year round. |

The place you describe doesn't exist in the U.S. If you want an inexpensive city it's not going to have many amenities. If you want the amenities, it's going to come with a price tag and a lot of other people. |

the best state to live in is Rhode Island, if you can afford it and are looking for peace and quiet. |

Well, it depends on what you consider "non-expensive". It seems like somewhere in the south may be the best bet for you - maybe the Atlanta area. There's tons of business opportunities, it's definetely hip & trendy (the nightlife is incredible!!), lots of celebs to run into, and the weather is pretty decent.
Good luck! |

Nevada is warm all year (well, most of the time) and has good business laws. I like the Reno area. Do some research on it. Good luck. |

People keep on saying cities....
in terms of a state, I'd say Oregon, or Texas.
If you're looking to be in an area that's business savvy, the south is the place to be in recent years.
Avoid the northeast, economically it's dead....mainly due to the business mindset of the people being repressed after so many years of failed governmental "leadership" of their states.
Not to mention, frankly...people in the south are just nicer, more accountable, and more hungry for success.
And Texas as a state has one of the best economies in the nation.
People in the northeast are lazy, depressed, and boring.
Oregon is BEAUTIFUL though, low living cost for the Pacific northwest, and people are still cordial, and it's progressive.....especially with the health and technology fields.
Good luck, but seriously.....avoid the northeast. I'm a private business owner as well, and leaving that walking dead section of the nation was the best thing I could have possibly done for my business. |

If you want to go for "affordability", try West Virginia, cheap place, and real cheap Southern people. And they smell like "heavens", including girls.
I would love to be anywhere in New England despite cold winters, there's real life there, and true American spirit, cheers. |

non-expensive city may also equal poor economy. I don't know if that would be good to start a business in. I would say somewhere in TN. You'll get the warmer climate and various kinds of cities. Memphis is a great fahion town although it's also listed on the 25 most dangerous cities in America. So you definitely have to weigh your options. |

I live in Tennessee, and it IS beautiful here, but we have had some fairly harsh weather in winters past. We tend to get some snow and ice especially Dec-Feb. So, if you are looking for warm weather all year, you will need to go further south - Florida or south Texas. |
