3. Carjacking is always common.
4. They take to all Americans, and see them as all having money.
5. If you drive, make sure you have Car Insurance that covers you in Mexico.

Take the bus! It's safer as you have other people around you that weill know you from the bus ride.
A car would require extra insurance.

You should look at the state department warning about TJ. It's not very safe down there right now. The cops and the drugs guys, who are the same in some cases, are killing whoever gets in the way. I know I have lived here all my life and I don't go down there anymore. I use to go there a couple times a month |

walking across is best. If you drive you have to buy the extra insurance and the traffic jams at the border can be terrible. Walking gets you in and out in no time. |

Just take the rail system they have. It'll cost like 3 bucks to get to TJ!! San Diego's transit system is amazing.
I agree with DaehtoP. The cops are crooked down there and will put you in jail and won't release you unless you pay them off....BEWARE!!!
If you're looking to party underage, go to Victoria or Vancouver B.C!! Our neighbors up North are great and you'll have a fun and safe time!! |
