The beaches. I lived in South Florida for eight years, and I can't think of a single beach along either coast that wasn't beautiful. The Atlantic coast beaches were always nicer than the Gulf coast beaches, but it wasn't by much. |

The Florida Keys! Driving out on the bridges is a scenic island-hop. Then being there is so relaxing and full of coastal beauty. Going out on my flats boat and finding a deserted island or visiting a favorite snorkeling spot.... I'll take it over a South Beach club or swamp buggy ride any day. |

Siesta Key beach. The sand is white and like powder, so beautiful. I love living here, walking out the door in 85 degree weather when people up north are talking about snow just makes me so happy I moved here. |

well I have to say the wildlife especially the birds... I am a bird-watcher and there are so many species down there it is amazing... on a more personal level there was a storm coming in over the Atlantic one evening and the lightning was lighting up the clouds beautifully ... it was also the combination of the warm breeze in my face, and the Ions from the storm that made it a special memory for me. (star) |
