There are no bad states, just miss matched ones. If you hate the cold, Alaska, North Dakota would be the top two of the worse.
I don't know what 'Southntnzpit' didn't like about Arkansas & Alabama, but I like both.. of course I'm from Arkansas.
Mississippi isn't everyone's cup of tea, and it's one of the poorest states. However it offers that Southern Hospitality.
For me, the worse state is Utah. It had the rudest people I've ever met. It was so bad it made NYC look friendly.
Next in line would be ND, was there in the winter for 3 weeks. The people were friendly, but no where on my birth certificate did it say polar bear! Why-not-Minot... TOO DARN COLD! |
|

why should you know?
|
North Dakota. It's flat and arid and cold as hell in the winter. Even God wouldn't live there. |

I liked the answer which states Utah and the whole South.
What is wrong with our geography lessons?
To answer your question : I probably would say Maine because I do not like winter but I never lived there. I hear people are very nice but reserved. |

I have lived many places, but the worst was Paducah, KY. It was in a dry county and for those of you who don't know what that means...it means it was illegal to buy alcohol there. It's not so bad that you can't drink, but restaurants and entertainment venues refused to come to an area that they couldn't sell liquor, so the big hang out was the Super Wal-Mart. It's a great place to visit (going 70 miles an hour), but it was miserable living there. |

My personal opinion is Mississippi. There is nothing to do in the rural towns, the communities are closed - they have generations of families that have lived there forever and are leary to open up to strangers. They are not open to liberal thought and fundalmentalist churchs are the center of social life. There are cool things to do like the beach, casinos and museums but those are sparse. |

Would you believe, Hawaii? It has the highest unemployment rate and poverty level in the United States. That is really a shame, because if it were returned to the native people that inhabited it in the first place, it would be more of a "paradise" than you could imagine. |

Tennessee. I lived there for seven years and moved around quite a bit. It was just terrible. The people were so prejudice and unfriendly, especially in the eastern part of the state. |

I live in mississippi even though we went threw hurricane katrina we will be big again. The South will rise again.
there is plenty to do here. horseback ride, gamble(onshore), golf, water parks, nature trails we even have waterfalls. fishing is huge. we go to the islands and party like hell. mud ride Its awsome here and we still have huge yards a good neighbors. |

Virginia I have lived in Virginia alll my life and I cannot wait to move on. It is nothing here the crime rate is highand it is set up for you to fail. The state is all about money and because of this you get a ticket for everything. The cost of living is going up yet the rate of pay is steadily down. Virginia is a good place if you don't want nothing for yourself. If you are lazy and don't want to do anything Virginia is the place to be. Oh and they will give all the help in the world to the people who don't work nowhere and and sit on they *** all day but as soon as you try to do something for yourself they start taxing that ***. F*** Virginia |
