MAgic Kingdom has a town of small rides that are for al ages and very relaxing also there is a ton of shows.

Epcot only has a few ride the back half og Epcot is divided into section for different countries ranging from USA to Japan this lets you experience the culture, food and music.

MGM has a ton of shows! and GREAT food

Animal kingom has a safari car ride really bumpy but it has real animals and a great lion king show

good spas in certain hotels

There's a whole lot more to Walt Disney World than rides. Walt Disney World is an entire Resort complex, not just a giant theme park, or anything like that. There are four wonderful theme parks, two water parks, Downtown Disney, over 25 different resort/hotel options, over 150 different dining options, and enough recreational activities to keep one occupied for weeks. Walt Disney World is the number one vacation destination in the world, and my personal favorite vacation destination. I've been going each summer for the past couple years, just my boyfriend and myself, and we love it.

Besides all the different rides at each of the four theme parks, there are all sorts of shows, like stage shows, 3-D shows, fireworks shows, etc. There's also plenty of shops at each theme park, as well as plenty of great places to dine. The four theme parks are Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, the Disney-MGM Studios, EPCOT, and the Magic Kingdom. Three of these four theme parks also offer tours. At Disney's Animal Kingdom Park you could take the Backstage Safari Tour and see all the animals on the savannah, and maybe pet the white rhinos. At EPCOT you can take the Seas Aqua Tour and swim in the aquarium with the sharks, sting rays, sea turtles, and other large fish, or take the Dolphins in Depth Tour. You don't get to swim with the dolphins, but you get to stand in the water with them, pet them, and play with them a bit. At the Magic Kingdom you can take Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour and see all the behind-the-scenes secrets of how the park is operated.

The water parks are a lot of fun. Typhoon Lagoon is my favorite of the two, but Blizzard Beach is great, too. I never learned to swim (I can somewhat doggy-paddle and float on my back, but that's it), so I'm not a big fan of water parks, water rides, or water at all, really. I had the best time at Typhoon Lagoon, though. The lazy river that goes around the entire park is wonderful, and the giant wave pool is so much fun! It's one of the largest inland wave pools in the world. The best part of Typhoon Lagoon, though, is the new Crush 'n' Gusher water coaster ride. It's awesome! There's also Shark Reef at Typhoon Lagoon where you can take a short swim with small sharks and rays. In the morning, before the park opens, you can take surf lessons at the wave pool. Blizzard Beach is nice. I just didn't like it on the particular day we went, I guess. It was so sunny and everything in the park is painted white to make it look snow-covered, so the sun was reflecting off of everything. We were squinting so much, we couldn't see a thing. Our eyes hurt so badly. But anyway, Blizzard Beach is still a lot of fun, as long as it's not too bright out. The park is home to world's tallest, fastest free-fall body slide, Summit Plummet. Even if you don't care for water parks and water rides like me, check them out.

If you really don't enjoy rides (I really don't understand how you can't like the rides at Walt Disney World) you will really enjoy Downtown Disney. "Come together to indulge in big-city fun in an area alive with excitement, unique shops, restaurants and entertainment! Explore Downtown Disney Marketplace, home to the largest Disney character store in the world; Downtown Disney West Side, with its top-notch restaurants, theaters, shows and amusement; and Pleasure Island, a partier's paradise of live performances and nightclubs." I love Downtown Disney! When we're on vacation at Walt Disney World we stay for a minimum of ten days, and we always spend at least one entire day at Downtown Disney. It's just as big and fun as any of the theme parks, so it's easy to spend a whole day there. There's DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park, the AMC 24-Theatre Complex, the House of Blues and Bongos Cuban Cafe for excellent food, music, and dancing. There's even a Cirque du Soleil show - La Nouba. It's so incredible, you must see it! My boyfriend and I have seen it the past two summers and will continue to see it each time we visit. It never gets old. In fact, it just gets more exciting each time. There's a bunch of clubs at Pleasure Island and a couple outdoor stages where performances are held. I haven't been to any of the clubs because it's not my scene, but other's really enjoy it.

Along with everything I've already mentioned, there's so much recreation. You could spend an entire week at Walt Disney World just enjoying the recreational activities and not even go into the theme parks. There are five Championship golf courses and two well-themed mini golf courses. Every Resort on property has an arcade with fun games for kids and even adults. Bicycle and surrey bikes are available to rent at most Resorts, and most of the Resorts also have health clubs and jogging trails, too. At many of the Resorts they have boat rentals and even offer guided fishing excursions. It's a lot of fun. My boyfriend and I took a guided fishing excursion from Disney's Polynesian Resort. It's catch and release only, and the guides will even bait the line, cast, and take the fish off the hook for you. It was awesome fishing in front of the Magic Kingdom. At Disney's Contemporary Resort is Sammy Duvall's. There you can take part in all sorts of water sports like water skiing, wake boarding, tubing, jet skiing, and parasailing. At Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is the Tri-Circle-D Ranch where they offer horseback riding and pony rides for little ones. Specialty cruises are available from some of the Resorts. Near the Magic Kingdom is the Richard Petty Driving Experience where you take a driving course, ride in a racecar with an instructor, and at the end you get to drive the racecar yourself. You can take a cruise aboard the Grand1 at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or aboard the Breathless at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. Some of the Resorts have volleyball courts, and most of Disney's Vacation Club Resorts have tennis courts. There are also three wonderful spas on Walt Disney World property where you can treat yourself to a massage, manicure, or spa treatment. There's the Grand Floridian Spa & Health Club at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the Spa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort, and the Mandara Spa at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort.

Trust me, there's plenty for you to do at Walt Disney World if you don't care for all the rides at the theme parks.

you can go look at the attractions. they have plenty of tours, and the kids can go take pictures with all the characters. but Disney isn't only for kids. the have places for grown ups too.

there are many stores there and they have different things like in epcot there are stores for all the countries in the world showcase and some rides aren't bad like the land you just take as boat ride tnhrough a green house basically and eating u can do ionstead of rides

Disney isn't just rides they have alot of shows going on during the day. I recommend Tarzan Rocks at the animal kingdom and Beauty and the Beast at MGM Studios. They also have parades and firework shows in the evenings. In each park they also have stores where you can find all sorts of different things. Each store has something for everyone even if your not looking for something. I say everyone should at least go once to see what it is all about. Also if your not into roller coasters they have laid back rides as well

There are stores, there are shows, there are exhibits, there are restaurants, and there are rides. A little something for almost everyone.

The stores vary ... some are strictly souvenir goodies, others range to high class stuff.

There are tons and tons of shops to suck your money away.
In addition, at Epcot you can drink youself around the world!
There are various and sundry shows that are performed by performers at different spots.
When you get to a specific park, pick up a guide and it will tell you all you need to know.

The rides aren't like carnival rides ... most are pretty sedate actually, like tram rides. There are stores mostly filled with souveniers that are overpriced. Epcot has the most unusual shops. There's plenty of eateries and there are a lot of things that are sit down type of shows/attractions. I think the place with the most "thrill rides" is MGM and they're not all that many. Haunted House is fun. Magic Kingdom has more ride type but they're mostly geared for the young ... just stay away from Space Mountain if you don't do rides (indoor rollercoaster in the dark) I like it but I like rides !!!! Have a great time if you go

THE RIDES IN DISNEYLAND ARE NOT SCARY. BUT YES THERE AR OTHER THINGS TO DO. THEY PUT ON RE-ENACTMENTS OF SOME THE MORE FAMOUS STORIES LIKE ALLADIN. THEY ARE VERY GOOD. ALSO A LOT OF PEOPLE GET THE AUTOGRAPHS AND TAKE PICTURES WITH THE DIFFERENT CHARACTERS WALKING AROUND AND RIGHT BEFORE DISNEYLAND CLOSES THEY DO A PARADE. HAVE FUN

Disney World has more to offer than rides. Magic Kingdom has the PhilharMagic 3D show as well as the SpectroMagic parade and Wishes fireworks display at night. Epcot has a 3D show - Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, plus the park holds the IllumiNations nighttime spectacular daily. MGM has MuppetVision 3D, the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular and the Lights, Motors, Action Extreme Stunt Show; at night the park shows Fantasmic, which is extremely popular; I recommend seeing it. Animal Kingdom has It's Tough to be a Bug 3D show and Festival of the Lion King.

Each park has one big store each with its own selection of merchandise: Emporium at Magic Kingdom, Mouse Gear at Epcot, Mickey's of Hollywood at MGM and Island Mercantile at Animal Kingdom. Downtown Disney has a multitude of shops and restaurants, as well as nightclubs at Pleasure Island. The World of Disney store there has the largest selection of Disney merchandise. You can also participate in the Richard Petty Driving Experience where you drive or ride as a passenger in an actual race car at the Walt Disney World Speedway. Disney World also has a pair of water parks: Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. You can also stay at one of Disney's 22 themed resorts and enjoy benefits such as Extra Magic Hours at each of the theme parks.
