This question is just too hard to answer! It's like those people who ask your favorite restaurant. There are just too many to name, and it really depends one what I'm in the mood for!

The Main Branch of the NY Public Library (no joke, it's beautiful!)
The Cloisters
The steps of the Metropolitan Museum
The plaza in front of Lincoln Center
Washington Square Park
The Belvadere Fountain in Central Park
Walking down Bleeker Street between Hudson Street and 7th Avenue at sunset
The Public Theater
The Conservatory Garden in Central Park
The Museum of the City of New York
The Brooklyn Botanic Garden
Well, that's an incomplete list, but far better than you'd find on a tourist site. These are all great places, some beautiful, some just great to experience.

Umm, I like a lot of places in New York but one of my favorite places is Times Square at night. All the different lights are on and there's so many people there. It's fun sometimes just to watch the people there because they're all so different. |
