The Guggenheim Museum, The Empire State Building where you can have a virtual ride thru NYC ( it's amazing), shopping in Times Square, Madame Toussauds Wax Museum. Try the Sony Wonder technology lab on 56th and Madison Ave. You can edit a music video and do other fun things there. It's really cool. Admission is free but it's very popular so you should call soon for reservations. The Olive Garden overlooks Times Square and Broadway. The restaurant Mars 2012 is an experience: a little overpriced but people go there for the atmosphere. You should definitely try it. If you can, go to Brooklyn and eat at Peter Luger's Steak House; it is so worth the trip! As for shopping, there are the large department stores like Macy's, Bloomingdale's etc, but you should also try going to Greenwich Village where you could get some great bargains and rare finds. Just walking along 5th Avenue will bring you to many stores. You can ask the concierge (in the hotel you will be staying at) for more suggestions. Most of all, have a wonderful vacation! |

It was 67 degrees today, in NYC.
There's a million things to do in NYC. Where can we start, on Yahoo Answers that can't be answered in 100s of travel books? check out Fodors or New York magazine, or open the NY Times. |

I could name a million museums. There all great. Broadway shows are always fun. Phantom has a great staging set up. Empire state building is great but you will freeze as it will be about 10-15 degrees colder once your at the top. Hard Rock Cafe is fun to eat at. I know it will be cold but ice skating is always fun rockafella will be packed so will bryant park you can always go to central park at wollman rink where you wont have to wait. |

New York is one of my favorite places in the whole world. As a child I visited it at least once a year. There are so many things to do, even if you're only doing indoor activities!
First, I recommend checking out the Guggenheim Museum, designed by the world-renown Frank Lloyd Wright. It has no stairs, but spirals upward with several art rooms on each level.
I also suggest that you go to the Metropolitan Museum, also a very famous museum, with replicas of Greek architecture and world-famous art pieces (such as "Washington Crossing the Delaware").
Another interesting place to check out is Trump Tower, a very elegant building that's very brassy inside. There's also a large selection of restaurants.
I need to leave for now but go to a AAA store and get a guide book for more travelling ideas! |

Actually, you have not been to New York City, you have been to Manhattan. There are 4 other boroughs to New York City. Why don't you explore Brooklyn, or The Bronx.
In Brooklyn, there is the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanical Garden,The NYC MTA Transit Museum, walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. Go to Junior's to eat the most famous Cheesecake in the world. There is shopping in the Atlantic Center. |
