New York is expensive. So unless you have money to spend there is not too much to do for enjoyment. You can go to a Yankee or Met game, shopping, time square, statue of liberty, The park is beautiful, zoo is nice, Broadway, but as a fellow college student New York is good for only a day or two because money goes by quick....If you want to visit a city where you don't have to spend a lot of money to enjoy yourself and still get the big city background is Chicago. It's pleasant to walk around and there is so many things to do for cheap. If you want to find out more ask in the Chicago section.

mmm....well you didn't really specify what you had done, its kind of hard to determine what you can do now....so did you check out the entire Central Park? Battery Park, go to the Statue of Liberty, Soho, Chelsea, Empire State, China Town, Museum of Natural History, Mme Toussauds Wax museum, Times Square, its fun just to walk around also and see the different types of characters that walk up n down NYC...I hope this helps! enjoy the rest of the summer1

Make like a tourist. One of your funniest writers Helene Hanff spent a couple of months (Apple of my Eye) touring New York like a tourist and then wrote the book. I wish I had found that book before I went there! Try it. You might see the place through new eyes?

i haven't been to New York in years, but when I did live there we used to visit Bear Mountain on The Dayliner Cruise Ship. It's not expensive, it only last one day, but it is so much fun. we used to go all the time. i did find some website info for you:
