Captain

What to do on a long bus ride??

I'm visiting some friends in Boston, and the bus ride is about 5 hours. My ipod dies after about 2 hours, so music isn't really an option, and I don't really have enough time to go out and buy a book before tomorrow morning. I'm also traveling alone, so talking and playing games with a friend is out of the question. Any suggestions?

print out dora or something and color
laptop-ssurf internet
moisturize?
portable dvd player-movies
phone-text it,call em
look out the window and see whats going on out there(actually interesting)
body-sleep
pencil,paper-draw,write, do poetry
something you passionate about-think on ways to do them in the bus
make a new friend and talk to them until its their stop or yours
read magazines
just think or day dream
loads of things that you can do......
try these though

Tell it like it is
meditate, reflect on your life, ask if anyone wants to play tic tac toe.

SLEEP :) thats always my motive when traveling!

If you cant sleep take some magazines or your cell phone and text!

Mealworm Breeder
Use the ipod for 2 hours. Talk to people on your cell, text. Sleep. Draw

Jacki
bring a book that you already have.
or bring some paper and a pen or pencil and draw or write.
you could sleep if you're not afraid of missing your stop.

Xo...MiSz sExY Xo..

Listen to music on your mp3 you bought last week.. after the 2 hours of music you start counting the sheep and cow that passes and after .. try to learn how to levitate objects and after that sleep. I hope this helps >:) :))

Seaaannnn [gives good advice]
take a magazine, and an ipod even though it dies haha. Text mssg alot.

Amy M
idk if you have a laptop but if you do download some games tonight and play them on the ride, and you can then also charge your ipod
reading a book again is usually a whole new story anyways (you pick up so much more the second time) so bring an old book, draw, and they probably sell magazines or crosswords at the bus station that you can buy.
Have fun in boston - I live here and love it!!
Make sure you check out newbury street =)

i hope i helped

Even though games are out of the question. If you had a PSP, Nintendo DS, or a game in your Cell Phone that only is a one player game it should help pass the time.

Another way is to sleep. Sleeping usually makes everything go by fast.

draw. sleep.

If on a good bus, they play movies.
Don't waste your iPod's battery life in the first few hours, instead, look outside for the beginning of the ride (it's nice to watch out the window for the first hour or so, and it's not boring, (again, for the first hour or so).
This way, you can listen to music for the middle of the trip. Call someone on your cell afterwards, or before the iPod, and conversate for a while, call different people...

hope I helped. =)

Read, sleep, puzzle books like soduko or crossword puzzle. Write a journal, write a book, think, plan, make a list of stuff to do, handheld video game like psp or ds, make a friend on the bus, magazines.
