LA or Diego.
Lake Tahoe is a great winter place however it's pretty boring in the summer. The scenery is nice but that's about it. |

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, and now live in Bay area. So this is going to depend on what you want to do. LA doesn't "suck" it's just your particular taste. LA is very fast paced there's a ton to do if you want to go clubbing and check out trendy restaurants, people watch, amusement parks etc. It's super busy and a LOT of traffic so bear that in mind.
San Diego is gorgeous if you want to hang at the beach, it's a much more laid back attitude compared to Los Angeles, has great beaches etc.
Tahoe is going to be the most rural of all it's gorgeous in Tahoe the scenery is great, alpine lake, mountains. It's going to be a lot cooler weather wise in Tahoe. Has a few new bars and of course gambling.
Hope this helps. I love all 3 personally, but all 3 are very different. |

That depends on what you want to do.
LA..... theaters, amusement parks, museums, etc...
San Diego.... beaches, zoo, race track (running now), etc...
Lake Tahoe, peaceful beauty, casinos, etc... |

Well I live in San Diego...LA pretty much sucks...and i've never been to tahoe. I've heard its really pretty tho. Anyway, in SD you can go to the beach, go to restaurants/bars downtown. Horton Plaza is an awesome mall, Old Town is a quaint place to have lunch, Seaport Village smells kind of fishy at one end since its by a fishery but there are cute shops and the scenery is beautiful. There are also a lot of places to go in Coronado. |

I love san diego...ive been living out here for the past 4 years and i absolutely love it...im originally from LA and i hate it...i just go there to visit parents. yeah there are amusement parks like disneyland and six flags but the trafic is horrible...if you dont go when traffic is low (which is usually never) you'll be stuck in traffic for most of the weekend, and the smog completely sucks. Go for SD, the weather is nice, you can go to the beach (mission bay, mission beach, pacific beach, la jolla shores, or even blacks beach), downtown shopping and bar hopping, balboa park, zoo, sea world, or you could go to coronado....or even take a drive down to tj or rosarito (they have the best lobster)
Ive never been to tahoe, but i also hear its pretty. |

Tahoe. Its gorgeous and the summer is over after this weekend. It will be too late to enjoy the lake until ski season. LA and San Diego will still be fun in a couple of months so you can go there then. Also, the smog isn't as bad after the weather cools down.
That being said I'm going to LA this weekend...

I would personally go to San Diego, I would cross the boarder and to go Rosarito, especially this long weekend. I did that one year, and it was so much fun!!!! Have fun this weekend |

Tahoe, then you travel to San Francisco, its the best in california. Don't go to LA were they don't have culture & they sit in smog & traffic all day. |

San Diego has great food and clubs.
L.A is just way to crowded to be any fun.
Tahoe is gorgeous.
Hope it helps you in your decision. |

Los Angeles is my choice.
(Unless you are visiting friends at each place, then whoever you want to visit. )
LA has lots more things to do than the other two places. Basically anything you can "dream of" you can do in LA. Bars, clubs, movies, night-life, food, lounge, etc.
San Diego is ok, but very laid back. Does not have as much as LA, but enough to keep your weekend busy.
Lake Tahoe if you like camping or fishing. |
|

Hey You
|
San Diego! It's so bright, sunny and warm. I looove their beaches. At nighttime you can hit up the bars. Everyone there is friendly. If you're of a lake person, go with Lake Tahoe. Although I'm leaning towards San Diego. |

I live in LA and I'll be in Tahoe this weekend (well I'm here now as well). It will be crowded everywhere (LA, SD, Tahoe)... but the weather is GREAT and there is fireworks over the lake on the 3rd..a dn if they are anything like the fireworks we saw on the 4th of July they are BEAUTIFUL. All the casinos have entertainment right now... and all the summer stuff is still open (ie, boats, jet skis, paisailing, horseback riding). Plus a lot of those things have specials right now (like tomorrow I'm doing a helicopter tour for only $50). All of the places you picked are great. Have a good weekend where ever you end up going! |
