Plenty of Water (put in freezer so it will be icy all day)

a hat or umbrella to get some shade
a beach ball to have some fun
I-pod or cd player for tunes
flip flops so you don't burn your feet in the sand
a cooler filled with frozen grapes and fresh fruit to avoid junk food that they sell on the beach.
lip balm with sun screen for your lips
maybe a hot guy to apply sunscreen to your hard to reach areas.
A spritz bottle of water to cool your self off it is too hot on the beach
a good trashy book
anything by Jackie Collins or Judy Blume (I like summer sisters, reminds me of summer)

A blanket, towel, cooler filled with drinks and snacks, sun block, radio, hat, sun glasses, head phones, cell phone, sandals, change of clothes, comb/brush, bucket to go shell collecting, moist towelettes and waterless hand sanitizer. Also, bring a Frisbee or a good book or magazine or puzzle book :) |

I usually just go for a max of 4 hours and bring only the necessary things.
An umbrella on a sunny day,
Sun tan lotion so I wont have a burn,
A big towel for my family,
Some water becuase you get thirsty,
A small snack like an apple or something,
Some glasses to protect your eyes,
and when I am especially bored, I will bring a book to read. |
