wear what makes you feel comfortable. everything you mentioned will be fine for vegas. agree with previous answer, keep money in the states, enough goes to mexico, besides you can drink the water in vegas

you will see everything and anything in las vegas. you really only see people dressed up in the evenings if they are going to a club since just about every club has a dress code.

if you're just hanging out being a tourist and shopping and maybe playing a few slot machines a jean skirt and a tank top is totally fine.

if you're going to a club like pure, or rain, you can still keep the jean skirt, but wear a nicer top and some heels ( flip flops NEVER get in ). the "stripper heel" style is actually really popular now in the clubs. they are SUPER comfortable and actually really easy to walk in.

Be sure to wear something you wont be too hot because temps here can reach 108-118 degrees. I wouldnt worry about underdressing or overdressing. Most girls "glammed" up on the strip are usually strippers. So what you said was fine, I dunno about the jeans tho.

Best part of Vegas is you can dress any way you want....you will look great no matter what you wear. It is one place where you can walk in wearing flip flops and a tank top and see someone wearing a suit and tie and everyone looks right!. Have fun, and don't worry:)

I live in Vegas, and you will actually want to dress down so what you have listed is fine.
Also, try not to look like a tourist (don't carry around a lot of shopping bags, etc.) especially if you go downtown (Fremont Street) because if you go East of Las Vegas Boulevard on Fremont you will be going in to one of the worst neigborhoods of town (the others being 28th Street, Vegas Heights, Decatur and Penwood and the area southwest of the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino) and you might get mugged. I've seen it happen a lot before.

Anything goes in Las Vegas. Everyone wears everything. No jeans it's too hot. It was 106 at midnight the other night, I just got back. If you are going to a club at night people are a little more dressed. It sounds like you're trendy so you should be fine. Dress cool and comfortable shoes, maybe some cute flip flops that can go night or day. Have fun.

I go to Vegas every year. You will fit in just fine. More skirts than jeans, it's HOT this time of year.

it doesn't matter what you wear, remember in the summer it can get really warm out, but in the hotels the air is pumping. stick to vegas more to do, besides you are keeping your money in the states

totally wear the jean skirt with a tank top. i made the mistake of wearing a shirt with a tanktop underneath with jeans. we had to stop at every hotel for a drink i was so hot. it was in the mid 90's when i was there.

I have been to vegas the last two summers. I would def go there instead of cancun you will have a lot of fun. Be prepared to spend wayyyy more money then you budget for. You will not look out of place wearing jean skirts and tank tops. Some people do dress up but not most. You may even be overdressed lol. People like to show off their designer purses and outfits there sometimes. But that is not everyone. Dont worry about it and have fun!
