People in NYC don't really care enough to chase you down. They'd just look and say "idiot". If you ran through the streets of Boston in a Jeter Yankees Jersey, you'd get a bat jammed up your ars..

The Mets fans will cheer, the Spankees fans will throw things at you.................

Do it! I'd love to see the looks on people's faces. You should get a fake jersey and have Steinbrenner's name on the back.

It really depends where. If you run through Queens, they'll love you. Trot through the Bronx, and you will never see that jesery again.

Probably not much. I see jerseys from every sports team on the streets in NY City. The city is very cosmopolitan and just about nothing turns heads there.

Nothing. New York is big. Very, very big. Most of the people living there have never even been to a baseball game.

shinyshiny
Probably nothing much. New Yorkers tend to be pretty nonchalant about that kind of thing. Maybe if you were making a big scene about it, we'd find it funny... or completely lame... it all depends on how it's done.
