You've never moved to a new state? I was an Air Force Brat and a military wife. So I was use to moving out of state a lot. What would you do if you moved to a completely new state? You would move to a new house, make new friends, go to a new school or new job. Every thing is new fun and exciting. Is this the answer you are looking for? If not, then you will have to be a little more specific in what you are asking. |

I would try and make new friends and possibly join new clubs or sports. Hope it works out! :) |

I did last summer. I a SAHM so I was very lonely for a while until I joined a play group on meetup.com. There are other groups on there besides play groups you could look into. Best thing I've ever done! |

I would hide under my bed, paralyzed with the fear of a completely new state. |

I moved to OH seven years ago. EVERYONE I know, friends and family are on the East Coast. It sucks but I get by.
I'd just suggest hanging back, don't bum out yet. See what's around, and maybe you'll find the new state isn't quite as bad as you thought.
Good luck with the relocation. |

I moved from new York to California almost three years ago. When I arrived in Cali I actually was only supposed to stay here for a month (It was intended to be a vacation) but I loved it so much I stayed, met the love of my life and now I'm living happily ever after!!! |

My husband was in the Air Force for 12 years so I moved around alot. It really isnt that big of a deal. You pack up, find a house and find a job, start meeting people. |
