I live in Las Vegas and I just came from the Bahamas. I would choose Vegas unless you reallllly want to be near a beach. The bahamas has their tourist spots but they all have hotels and attractions that are "vegas style" so why no just come to Vegas. Besides that the local bahamas spots are somewhat impoverished. |

Two questions you should ask yourself are:
A. Do I want a gambling experience second to none?
B. Do I want to be around water?
Then go from there. |

you go to vegas for a 3-4 day weekend... you go on a cruise for at least a week... if you only have a weekend i'd go to vegas |

Having done both in the last month i would say it depends on what you want in a vacation. Cruising i think is much more laid back and relaxing, all the food you can eat and beautiful ports. Las Vegas is much more in your face and busy, alot of drinking and partying and not alot of sleep. Both were comparable in price so that really doesn't take alot in consideration. I will say i feel like i get my money on a crusie and that in Vegas its more like a donation. Have fun whichever you choose |

bahamas. but have your passport. will save more money to for you might blow it on gambling in vegas. |

I have been to the Bahamas it is expensive since your paying your liquor on the boat and souvenirs and stuff. I would choose Vegas, well I haven't been there and I am making plans to go. Honestly it depends on when you are going and if you rather been in a swimsuit all the time or sitting at a booth gambling your money away. |

It depends on where you live. If you live on the west coast, then I would recommend going to Las Vegas. You only spend about an hour each way on the plane and have more time to enjoy Las Vegas. If you're on the east coast, then going to the Bahamas might be better. I think you'd get more "vacation" time out of the trip to Las Vegas, bc from my experience, you "waste" a lot of time with a cruise related to boarding/unboarding, etc. And, once you're on the boat, you're stuck with what they present you with. In Las Vegas, you have the freedom to create your own schedule. |

Bahamas wins with Vegas...you have potential losses...go to the Bahamas...more fun and you will love the sights... |

Bahamas -- hands down. You go to Vegas to gamble and watch showgirls -- not my thing. |

Pick Las Vegas. You may end up paying extra fees and tips from the Cruise trip. Hey, what if the weather is bad on the sea? |

Myself, I would take the weekend in Las Vegas. I think with everything that is going on in the world it may be a bit safer. |

I'd choose the cruise to the Bahamas. Not only would I love the scenery and the lovely weather, but I wouldn't end up spending all my money on gambling. Interesting question. :) |

The cruise. Have been to Vegas and theres nothing really fun to do if your under 21. So the cruise hands down. |

the bahamas of course...most cruise ships have casinos (try royal caribbean) so you can have the best of both worlds. You can have live entertainment, save alot of money from the free food and staying on the ship and also gamble away in the casino if you want to. The best part is when you wake up in the morning after losing all your money the night before, your docked in paradise....not in a sleezy hotel. |

Las Vegas! Much more fulfilling and fun than getting stuck on a ship that is going to cruise through hurricane season. Look what the hurricane did to Bermuda..... |

Only 15% of Americans have ever been on a Cruise. Out of those, 98% said they loved it and would definately do it again.
This cruise just sold out, but check this price out. http://www.worldventures.com/dreamtrips/dec_cruise.html

A weekend in Vegas is much better. More things to do and more places to take in. Cheaper too. |
