I live here. July is pretty HOT! 112-116. Last 4th of July we hit 116!! HOT! Like in a oven.

You know when your step sisters put you in the oven for five minutes on broil while you die a slow, horrible, agonizing death? It's like that, but hotter! Just kidding. It is warm, but the buildings are still air conditioned. Just plan on drinking lots of water during the day and having all your fun at night.

Like most everyone said already, HOT!

I've been living out here since '06 (yeah, I moved out here right in the middle of summer. Smart, huh?) but once you have one Las Vegas summer under your belt the next ones aren't that bad. It's a really dry heat so it might not affect you as much as say, a Tampa or Miami summer. Just remember these things:

1- drink fluids
2- wear sunblock (especially you fair-skinned people)
3- light comfortable clothes and footwear are your friends

sincitybud
stick a hair dryer 1 inch from your face on high.

Hot, Hot, Hot. Around 110 degrees.

Turn your oven up as high as it will go, wait about 30 minutes and stick your head in for about an hr...that's Las Vegas...lol
And that's NO joke.

Try this: heat your oven to 350 degrees F. Open it with your face right in front of the door. This is like opening your front door in July in Vegas.

I was there at that time a few yrs ago and it was very hot,,but I love the heat and I felt that the casinos were way too air conditioned and I took a sweater ..I remember freezing my butt off when I went to see MAMMA MIA and it ruined the show I was way too cold to appreciate it...So be hot or be cold ,,but HAVE FUN and take a sweater even on a HOT day..

Well I can tell you I went to Vegas in June (2007) and it was 110 degrees one day, 109 another day, and 103 one day. I love the warm weather though so it didnt bother me. I imagine July would be worse though. lol dont go during the summer if you dont like warm hot weather. Also be sure to drink a lot of liquids if you do go!

sufficating, horribly hot!, weak, tired, not the best feeling. i dont reccomend it!!

Janna
It gets very hot, but it doesn't feel uncomfortably hot, because the humidity levels are very low. These low humidity levels make high temperatures more tolerable in the summer. It's a great place to visit!

NONAME
sweaty balls is what it does for me
