It depends on what your lifestyle is like. Some people mentioned SoCal, while it is nice, it is also VERY expensive to live there. There are also a lot of people and lots of traffic (especially at certain times of day). Personally, I live in Northern California. When I first moved here I thought I'd hate it (I moved here to go to college). The area eventually grew on me and I love it here now. Housing prices are still affordable, there's less traffic (hardly any at all), the scenery is beautiful (mountains, lakes, sunsets, etc), and its a short drive to just about any recreational activity (snowskiing, ocean, wine country).

KENTUCKY --
1. It has the Horse Country, with hundreds of country roads lined with rock fences and trees. It's like no place else on earth.
2. Kentucky has more artisans per capita than any other US State. The largest outdoor Art show in the US is held in Louisvillle ev. October.
3. The largest "castle" in the US is located btw Versailles & Lexington. You can't go in it, but it looks cool
4. Mammouth Cave is the world's largst cave

Why not England. It will give you a whole new meaning to the word "weather" You can get approached within 15 minutes of arriving in London to buy drugs.. Our country is letting in absolutely anybody at the moment...And our British men will either make you laugh, make you cry or make you into a good runner. You would love it.

Chicago, there are tons of people so If you are coming from a small town it might be hard to fit in... however, the city is great and very multiracial. Full of activities and places to go.

not michigan.= ]

Anie.
If in California, i say southern california if you love the ocean, beaches, hotness, or just surfing. If you like the cold i would recommend Lake Tahoe.

If anywhere, i say anywhere but USA. I would go to Europe.
