Florida...aside from the hurricanes..haha...(which can still be kind of fun) My fave city is Orlando...and not just for the theme parks but there is SO MUCH stuff to do...like its sooo much fun...and its a really clean pretty town...always bright and sunny...beach is close....love it love it love it.

Hawaii, many different people like polynesians, whites, tourists, and its just fun to go to the beach, and feel the humidity and hangout at the ocean, watching dolphins jump up in the air.

Of all the states I've visited, I love Montana the best. Beautiful land, wonderful people. I'd move there in a heartbeat (from just outside of Chicago).

It depends; you want rugged outdoors and untouched wilderness? Alaska. A beautiful, exotic paradise? Hawaii. Old folks homes? Florida. (kidding, kidding, that was a joke). And besides, you can't sum up a state into one thing. Maybe when you think of California, you picture Hollywood and surfers on beaches, but CA also has its share of gangs and slums. To find the "best state" you have to factor in your interests and focus more on a city or town than an overall state.

Get ready for war, though. Everybody's eager to defend or bash their state. Good luck!

I love Flordia. I don't live there but I have family that lives there and its so peaceful. It truly is a more relaxed way of life. In most parts anyway. I live in Maryland and although I like it here(we have the harbor(a half hour from me in baltimore city the bay(about an hour away in annopolis) WASHINGTON DC about an hour ina half away from me and Ocean city which is about 3 hours from me.) I feel like things are just to expensive here and there is A LOT of crime in a majority of places. Although I live in a suberb area. Taxes are also ridiculous.

the best state is a state of acceptance and understanding.
The best American State is probably Massachusetts, simply because there is a lower crime rate than in other large states such as New York and Texas, right now the leaves are changing colour and the greater Boston area is beautiful this time of year, there are plenty of jobs available, and the public transportation can get you nearly anywhere in the state. If for some odd reason you don't like it here, houses sell easily and you could move whenever you liked.
But i still stick with my first answer, a state of acceptance and understanding.

Well, I haven't been to all the states. So I don't know. But the worst state is texas. Simply because their state is way to big, and so we get lost. Stranded there for way too long. Its horrible, curse you texas...
