The outside fountains at the Bellagio are beautiful and a 'must see'. The Alladin hotel has the indoor Desert Passage mall that has hourly rainstorms (also free) & quite beautiful. Most casinos have penny & nickle slots and tons of free lounge shows. For chocolate lovers, there is also the free Ethel M chocolate factory tour (complete with free samples). Coca Cola Museum, m&m World, etc. All the larger casinos are well worth the walk through. And don't forget, many have BARGAIN meals (just to lure you into their casino).
And it's a short drive! (It will probably be as fast to drive as it is to fly) |

Play the nickel slots.
Stay in a down-ridden motel far from the core of the city. |

The Bellagio fountain is nice. Also the exploding volcano, the outside pirate show at Treasure Island. All these are free and are outside. There is a place you can get show tickets for 1/2 price. I forget the name but it's right next to a huge coca-cola bottle. Walk through the hotels especially Cesears palace, NY,NY, and Bellagios. There are trolleys that will take you everywhere on the strip that are really cheap, although not all that comfortable. There is also an outdoor fireworks show(free), I didn't catch it when I was there so I don't know exactly where it is. Buffets are really cheap and the food is great! Ask around to see which buffets are best. People are extremely friendly and helpful. You're going to love it! Enjoy your vacation! P.S. Mirage is where they have the volcano show. |

Sit at the penny slots and get free drinks, and then go to the information desk at the casinos and tell them you are interested in a timeshare. You have to sit through a 60 minute schpeel on how great the timeshare is going to be, But they will give you free tickets to go see a show. It only costs an hour of your time. My wife and I were walking into Aladdin and some guy asked us if we wanted tickets to a free show, and I said "Sure." Of course, right before the show I started hitting it on the roulette table. Didn't get to see that show, but I mailed a big check home. I think it was worth it... |

People watch! You can go into any of the casinos, walk right up to a craps table and watch people lose hundreds of dollars. The hotels are beautiful and fun to walk around and look in. Stay somewhere cheap and visit the really nice hotels. |

to go out there with a list of site seeing and be mindful that u want to get back with a sence of adventure, plus dont worry ppl go out there and come back with nothing, but at least you have a quality of knowing you seen and experience something with out loosing. |

I certainly would take a tour, way to save money and have a good time. Casinos are not a way to go on a shoestring budget. |

There are lots of things to do in Vegas that don't involve gaming, which is where most people spend too much money. Go see Hoover Dam or take a drive out to Red Rock canyon. See some of the free shows @ the casinos, the white tigers @ Mirage ect. Have fun! |
