I'm glad we finally have some wet weather. We really need the moisture. Be glad for that, as otherwise we could be facing drought conditions this summer. Crazy it might snow though.. But hey, the more powder the better! |

He he, you're just being exposed to the same exact day-to-day weather that people in Michigan, Iowa, and many other states see every year. Almost every year at the end or beginning of summer, there will be a day of snow showers, then a day of violent storms and tornados, or vice-versa. What can I say, Al Gore is a moron but it's nice to see that northern/midwestern weather is creeping south to show people that winter still exists and then some. |

It will snow maybe if this keeps up, in Santa Cruz and parts of the San Jose mountains have snow. The cold weather and air are pushing in form the east coast. |

It IS snowing! Good show for once, as we certainly need the rain. Tornado warnings are rare, but I have seen them before here.
Yesterday on my way to work, I drove through snow in Duarte. |

With waves killings thousands, earthquakes, fires, mud slides, tornados, category 5 hurricanes, scorching temperatures in the summer, record freezing temperatures in the winter and volcano's, and wars and remores of wars, I'm thinking time is ticking and the second advent may be closer than we know! Not to mention the events in the middle east! |

A tornado touched down over the waters near Pt. Mugu, and came on land, tearing the roof off of an airport hangar.

We get tornado conditions off Long Beach every couple yrs. It is actually a cyclone off the water that turns into a tornado when it hits land. There are some good pics of them out there. Once it came on land about 10 yrs ago and blew the roof off a large market. Point Magu had a roof blow off today and Malibu had a warning. When the storm swirls counterclockwise, it is a tornado warning. Once we had a tornado, a completely flooded San Diego Fwy and swarms of locusts within days of each other. |

Actually check out Ontario Weather Service, Weather Service in Southern California
Called this Tornado Event at 7am on the 24th, and issued a tornado watch for it. See OWS. OWS was not unprepared for it. |

In 1986 a small tornado hit the roof of Fedco which used to be on the corner of Raymer and Kester. |
