Of the ones I been to:
Maine - great for vacations, especially if you're into doing stuff outdoors (camping, hiking, whitewater rafting, etc.)
Minnesota - great place to raise your kids
New York - great for city life and mix of different cultures

Well, I been to New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island. Virginia. Nevada, and of course California(I live in C.A)

I personally think California is the nicest place to live esp in the South.

well, to be honest, I only stayed in the east of US for about a week, so thats why I didnt have time to get used to a new enviroment.

CA is the best! I have lived in the northern and southern parts and I love them both. Best weather in the nation, especially SoCal. We have pretty much every climate and region here; Mountains, beaches, valleys, flat grassy plains, deserts, beautiful forests especially the Redwoods forests where they can grow up to the height of a 35 story skycrapers. Only state where you can surf in the morning and be snowboaring in the afternoon. Some of the most scenic beaches outside of Hawaii and we have some of the best cities in America; LA, SF, and San Diego. Biggest and most powerful economy in the nation and the world, 5th or 6th largest in the world on its own.
