when people stop driving gas guzzlers, which will help decrease demand

Just as soon as the USA gets a REAL energy policy, that is not developed by the oil industry hiding behind Dick Cheney.
In other words, never.

confused
Maybe when supply greatly exceeds demand but I doubt that prices will drop that low again. I wonder how high they will go.

We will neve see gas below $2.00 a gallon again. In fact, I just heard on the news that by the end of the year, a barrel of oil will pass over $100 a barrel. That will make gas prices soar to at least $5.00 a gallon or higher.

myke_n_ykes
when cars run only on veggie oil, the sun, hydrogen, or electrcity

Never. We'll be onto another fuel source before they ever consider bring them back down.

I was tempted to say never, but the tuth is it will come back down in price when we find an alternative or several alternative fuels and/or cut consumption. The saddest truth may be that there will come a time when you will not be able buy any gasoline at any price. If things keep on the way they are I predict a complete colapse of the money system as we know it. I pray I am wrong.

NEVER!!! :(

HA HA HA!!! Tell me when that miracle will happen. People like heavy duty vehicles more than gas savers. It'll never return.

When the government steps in and takes over the Oil industires... But since this is a nation with strong beliefs in capitalism I don't see that happening. So your best hope is new technology.
