July and August is kind of slow but the pools are open so that is a great time to go. November, December, January, February and March are cold and the pools aren't open so there are less people except during the weeks of the holidays. Also avoid the first two weeks of January, that is when the big conventions hit town.

Tourists come year round but you might find the best deals between Xmas and the day before New Years Eve.

Right now the economy is soft so you can get a bargain.
vegas.com is one of the best sites.
You can get a 4 star room for like $40 at some places.
I live here, there was a story on the nbc local news station last week. march 2.
If you get a room, they will give you a free upgrade to a suite. or the upgrade could be some dinners at the hotel. or spa treatments.
You are in the driver's seat right now.
The new M resort opened this week march 1 and they have some great deals. check it out on line. it is like 12 miles south of the airport.

I will go there this weekend to see the place and have a buffet for under $20 that inclues free, beer, wine or sodas.

Stat away Jan.-March. You can get good rates by shopping around.
Vegas has a lot to offer besides gambling. Hoover Damn, Lake Mead, Mt Charleston. Have Fun

Actually a lot of people come in the summer, they just don't spend as much. Hotel rates are usually very low. November and December are alos very low. There are usually a lot of conventions in Jan.
October is kind of a fluke, since there are a lot of conventions around this time.

I went in Decemeber and it wasn't too crowded. We got good hotel rates and flight. However, the weather wasn't the best.

I would guess that it is usually least crowded during the summer months because it gets so hot. We went last August and it was 105 degrees the entire week. But you get used to it pretty quickly, and it is perfect for hanging out by the pool.

The hotels tend to run some great specials because of the heat. Added to that their desperation due to the economy, and you've got even better rates.
