The Mayor and his lawyers, will manipulate the legal system, until he walks away scott free. The only way he'll get out of office is when he loses the next election ( if he hasn't figured out a way to stuff the ballot boxes ).
If he does lose the next election, I'll bet that he leaves the Manogian mansion and the Mayors office totally trashed.
I wish we could find out more about those text messages, but it seems the Playa Maya owns Judge Giles too! |

Detroit cannot remove him until the next election. The person who could remove him is The Governor of Michigan Jennifer Granholm and she has already stated that she is going to let the judicial process play out before she makes any decisions. |

Kwame is more CROOKED than he is a thug. Throwing a stripper party in your house isn't thuggish. Cheating on your wife isn't thuggish. OK, whacking a stripper might be thuggish, but that hasn't ever been connected to Kwame. He isn't tight with gangs and he's not all ghetto when he's speaking. Kwame actually has some sense. He went to a good school and he's a lawyer. I wouldn't call him a thug.
He will only get removed when the majority of the residents of the city speak up and support the efforts of the members of the City Council who are working to oust him. The Council members are doing what they can to get re-elected. The votes to bounce Kwame wouldn't be close if the Council members thought THEY would get bounced by supporting Kwame.
Kwame has the wool pulled down over a bunch of peoples' eyes and nothing will change until those people wake up! |

The next mayoral election. No one wants to interfere with the judicial system right now (that's Granholm stance). The loveliness that is the current court cases are only the tip of the proverbial iceberg. And the iceberg reaches all the way to the ocean's floor. I wouldn't want to get mixed up in this mess, either!
The Feds are just waiting in the wings until they can get to Kilpatrick, but they can't until he's out of office; they have been pretty much since the very beginning. He's done quite a lot of shady/illegal things. And he's going to bring down half the city's higher-ups unless the snowball miraculously stops. |
