Honestly, I heard that prices were supposed to be coming down soon. They have come down some in my town.
I heard the reason it went up is because they were trying to make the gas more economical. Whatever they put in the gas increased the price of the gas. It didn't work, so they are going to stop using it, so prices are supposed to come down. I don't know if it is true, but that is what I heard! |

They are going to be at this price for quite some time to come. Americans need to find alternate sources of energy or begin driving less... |

Unfortunately, they might never go down much below about $2. After awhile of what they are now, many of us will be glad at only $2. Maybe we've been tricked into this, just think of all the huge profits the oil companies have made. Maybe some of it is set aside for future drilling, more exploration to find yet more sources, maybe we'll never know. Younger people coming up will never know lower prices, so the high prices will become routine, same as electricity and heating - it's all insane. |

When US can sort out its reserves and not go into a frenzy and drives prices up whenever something happens in the Mid-east. US is highest guzzler of gas in the whole world, that is why it had been resisting Kyoto Protocolto try and go green. |
