Anywhere you want to go where you can take good care of the toddler. He/she won't know where she/he is anyway. |

Don't go to Disney, they won't remember it. Better off to go to the beach and make sand castles or something. |

We took a cruise with our 9 month old and it was great. There is a babysitting service abord the ship with bonded babysitters. Relaxing for you because you're never too far from your room or a couch to relax on. Lots of activities that you can do with your kid next to you.
I highly recommend it. |

It probably wouldn't be good to travel very far from home, I mean, it's hard to travel with children. Maybe you just day a day driving trip, or a weekend trip to a beach, camping? Maybe when they're older, a trip to Alaska, Caribbean, or even Florida. My family enjoyed Epcot center with 18 month old. |

Something that you like that is kid friendly where you can push a stroller and stop and feed and change him/her. We are pretty family oriented, so we just did the usual things--rent a place at the beach, go to an amusement park where you can see shows, stay home and take day trips. Obviously, you can't go to a casino or places like that or to that play you've always wanted to see on Broadway or a bus trip somewhere. Check out the tourism web site for your state. |

A cruise:
Disney has a fleet-wide nursery for infants and toddlers from 12 weeks to three years old. Cunard also offers fully-equipped nurseries for parents and their infants. Parental presence may be required with some ships.
In general have a look at the newer, larger ships for your family cruise vacation. They tend to have better family friendly facilities and programs for children, including infants. |

the beach in general would be fun because there would be alot of cute pictures and it is easy to come and go if you have a close hotel/condo to the beach, but if you want a real vacation you can find a family friendly cruise that has daycare and activities for babies while parents have adult time........anything Disney for a 1 yr old is a BAD idea...its a waste of money for something they wont remember plus noone else in the park wants to listen to a screaming child because they are hot/tired/hungry/cranky in general |

The jersey beach would be good and probably any other beach in a family friendly town. I have been there and there are a lot of parents there with thier young children and sometimes even newborns |

somewhere, where he will be able to observe and be amaized. like sea world to look at the fish, out in nature. anywhere where you think that could satisfy his imagination and curiosity. |

I'm a mother of 4, stepmother of 4, foster parent, ages 17 down to 3 years old. My experience:
No place is a good place. Child won't remember the fun all of the rest had so try to leave the baby at home with family and enjoy some time without baby. When a child is about 3 does it really start to be entertaining. Younger than 3, the zoo, the park, even the toy store are trips to satisfy. Vacations with a baby seem to be too much work. |

A beach would be appropriate. There's not many places to take a 12 month old and the baby will remember it. Plus at that age, they still need diaper changes, naps and food. So the best vacation should be no more than 3 hrs away. And that would be a beach. You can also try a local park that has sprinklers. The baby won't know the difference. |

Disney vacations are always good for young children. I went when I was 8 months old. Unfortuneately, I don't really remember any of it. |
