It depends on where you live and where you are willing to travel....

Libraries are good, not only can many kids look at books for long periods of time it's educational. Plus many libraries are hubs for events in the area, they often know what is going on and you can find other events near you.

YMCA - even in the winter (indoor swimming) - or another indoor pool. Most even have life jackets you can use for free.

To a movie or play... especially one geared towards children

Boat rides at a local park/lake.

Local Zoo or Aquarium

Paint studio - some places will let you paint with hands, feet... as long as you can keep them from eating it, it's great fun

Travelling ideas
-Disney World
-Water parks
-Beach
-Children's Museum
-Chicago
Museum of Science and Industry
Navy Pier
Shedd Aquarium
Field Museum
Chicago Children's Museum (at navy pier)
Trolly Rides
Hershey factory
Sears Tower
Hancock Building

there are many places you could go. one is like michaels. you could take them to a place where they can do arts and craft, well for the 2 year old. and for the19 month old.... oh there is a gym place for little kids. that could be fun for both of them:)

Rollingstonesfan

six flags and orlando have a whole kids sections or take them to mini golf, an arcade, fun time junction, ride-play land[wich i think is in long island or new york idkk or new jersey-somewhere in those areas- nice park and rides]. find a local carnaval or something or a circus. take them to broad way or contenental arena for a disney show on ice or something.

chriszchris
Take them to church....probably its time you went back there too!!!

How about buying some toys and just playing wiht YOUR kids. They will get more out of being with you than any park you can pay for. Sounds like you spend too much time and money trying to entertain your kids rather than just enjoying the time you have with them.

PrincessJesci
Do they like these places? Are you sure you're not the one getting bored? Usually kids that young can play and play and its the parents who are sick of the usual places.

Try looking online for local play groups. Sometimes they are held in churches or community centers. Introducing new kids to your children's play schedule might be the kick they need.
