We don't have any poisonous snakes in the entire state I believe, but here on the island we've only got common garter snakes, but you can really only find them if you look really hard. I've lived here fifteen years and have only seen one (while looking) and it was in the woodsy part of the island.
It's beautiful here, there's almost no crime, no natural disasters whatsoever, a half hour to the city, and it's almost entirely surrounded by beaches. The only major downsides is since it's all suburbs it's kind of boring (I like cities with natural disasters and a little less predictability). It's also fairly expensive to live here because the city is close by, the beaches, etc., but a tleast you don't have to worry about snakes. :P |
