Any place north of New York City. They usually don't get all that much and it turns slushy pretty quickly. Vermont, New Hampshire, Western Massachussetts, mountains and skiing in those places.
New York State. I grew up in the north-western part of the state. LOTs of snow there. |

I would go with Maine or Vermont--a bonus would be the nice places to stay up there. |

Depends on were you want to go on the east coast and were you are right now about anything from the Virginia north will have snow this time of year. What do you want to do in the snow and how much you want will depend on where you want to go. I would start by visiting the different states tourist sites for ideas that suit your family's needs and desires for snow play. |
