how about the Akron Art Museum, or the Carousel dinner Theatre, or go into the Akron/summitt visitors guide: visitakron-summitt.org might give you some ideas you would'nt have thought about.

Get some exercise and hike along the trails in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It's absolutely gorgeus and there's so much history that goes along with that place. I took my kids on a mini railroad trip in the park and it was a lot of fun.

Run away to Cincinnati and go to COSI! It's the most fun science museum ever. Seriously, I thought it was going to be the most stupid place ever...(my thoughts exactly where "Ew, a science museum?") but it truly is tons of fun.

Or you could go to the aquarium. They sound like childish places to go to, but they really are fun. Just a thought. =D

i was going to say go to the Valley and hit up a few bars. but i dont honestly know of anything in akron.

cleveland might be better. my boyfriend and i went to the science center(were 23) played with all the toys and saw a movie at the imax. then we went out to coventry, played with all the toys at big fun, had dinner in little italy and had a few drinks at a bar nearby. it was very different and very fun.
