Around the neighborhood is always good. With the absence of school, kids need to be watched. I would recommend babysitting or mowing lawns.

You posted this in Cincinnati, so I assume you are from the Cincinnati area. No employer can hire you legally in the state of Ohio at age 13. Kings Island hires kids for the summer when they turn 15, so apply there in 2 years. Until then, you will need to be creative. Advertise around your neighborhood. I'd love it if I could find a hardworking kid willing to do some odd jobs- some ideas include mowing lawns, washing cars, cleaning pools, washing dogs, petsitting, dog walking, babysitting, house sitting, weeding of gardens, mulching, etc.

You can try babysitting in your neighborhood or find chores to do for senior citizens.

13 that a lil young for a job pretty much no one would except you to work for them but you can probably work with your parents or like mow lawns

You could mow lawns babysit, walk dogs. babysitting might be your best bet through. if your not red cross certified and you want to babysit, you may want to take a red cross babysitting class. it takes a few hours, your with a group and you learn a lot.

put up flyers in your neighborhood and a busy entrance of one of the grocery stores advertising for baby sitters. i pay a kid 100 bucks a week for watching my girlfriends sitanic unmedicated kids, i have to tip her on the side with another 50 bucks as this is no easy gig! seriously, i would babysit somewhere around your hood. its 2009 and most parents dont want to be around their kids, their very supportive these days. so i would call and ask around to see who needs babysitting help. trust me, you ll be getting paid! just smile when you meet people, as you ll be the one babysitting the kids they want nothing to do with! but you can get a new cell phone, buy clothes, or whatever you wanna do with your money! good luck!! dont work too much, cuz one day youll have to work whether you want too or not!
