Definately not in Texas.
Boring.
Hot.
Uneventful.
No snow in the southern part.
Dirty water/ocean.
I've always wanted to live in new york.. |

I suggest you look to your self for the answer. The only clue you give is "exciting". Well, what do you consider exciting? The party scene, night life, art, wilderness? People do not all like the same thing. What kind of work do you see yourself doing? Do you have an education or training to prepare you for your career? Where can you find the kind of work you like to do? What kind of climate do you enjoy? Make yourself some lists. If you can tell us what you want, maybe people on Yahoo!Answers can help you find out where that would be. |

Two quick picks:
1. Boulder, CO - beautiful college town with a lot going on. Close to Denver if you want to be near a big city. The economy is stable, good job prospects, and the people are really friendly.
2. Austin, TX - another nice college town. Bigger than Boulder and has a good economy and job market. Lots of things to do for young people. Home of University of Texas. |

"A good place to start over" is different for everyone. You'll have to follow your own heart to find your particular version. |

I lived for 24 years in Washington state and always wanted to move somewhere better. On a split-second decision I jumped in a car with my friend and came to San Diego. I had nothing when I came here and it has been the most amazing experience. The weather is great, there's so much to do and it's not crazy busy like L.A. I will never move anywhere else. |

Hello.
I was born and grew up in the Midwest. I've lived all over the world. You are in the best place to live. The best thing for you to do is travel the world a bit and see what it's like elsewhere. Then, if you decide to move, it will be an informed decision on your part.
Right now I am living abroad, but many days I wish I were back in the Midwest.
Good luck!

You might want to move to the mid-atlantic or new england. Don't go to a big city and get an apartment because it is noisy and rats and vermin sometimes get in. I would go to a suburb that has a low criminal rate and get an apartment that is moderately large or enough for one person, like with 10-15 other residents for a sense of friendship and security. I say mid-atlantic or new england because there are few tornadoes, hurricanes, there is often snow which you may enjoy, there are barely any earthquakes and these places have a good population and you can make many friends in these areas. I suggest mid-Vermont,especially if you like snowboarding or skiing |

surrounded by water...beautiful beaches....
small states, everything you need in a small area....
its the best place on earth. |

Los Angeles! It's very exciting, the weather is nice. But if you don't like smog, then you should go to San Francisco or Sacramento. It's so quaint, and the people are wonderful. |
