Disney World ......he might be almost too young to really enjoy it. Wait til they are 6 or older so they will remember the experience more vividly.
Otherwise, I would go anyway for selfish reasons and bring the kids along. Because I always have a wonderful time at Disney them parks even as an adult. |

Anywhere that has a beach will do nicely, toddlers are easily amused and don't need tons of money spent on vacations they will not remember that just need love and attention plus they will have hours of amusement playing in the sand and sea |

Take him somewhere that pertains to little kids. You will want to make sure he has fun. You do not really want to spend your money someplace where you will feel miserable and your son won't have any fun. Good Luck. |

You can take him up north in Michigan to petoskey or Mackinac Island. These places have beautiful attractions and great shops and stores for sightseeing or window shopping. |

Why not try Sesame Place. It is 30 minutes north of Philadelphia.

This is a wonder full time to go on a vacation. You can have your dream vacation anywhere YOU want to go. He'll like it just you are with him. Take lots of pictures so when he is older you can show and tell him how much fun you both had . Then your memory and story will become part of his history of you two together. |

Since you live in Ohio I would try Idle-wild Park. It is near Pittsburgh PA and it is great for smaller children. It has Mr. Rodgers neighborhood and it is geared towards smaller children. It also has a water park and some cool rides for kids at heart. |

2 1/2 years old and you're thinking about taking HIM on a vacation? I say the backyard will do.
He's too little to know that he's ON A vacation. |

If you can swing it, I HIGHLY recommend going to the BEACHES resort in Turks and Caicos. We just went there for a vacation this past November, and we have a 2yo and 10yo. we chose this destination mainly b/c of our 2yo (as opposed to any other resort). This has everything you will want as an adult, plus this resort has SESAME STREET activities and shows and more, all with a tropical theme! besides gorgeous beach, the food, the accomodations- this place was sooo much fun...I honestly have never had this much fun in a long time. my entire family was having a blast every day and night. My 2yo was in HEAVEN.
There is also a wonderful kids camp that is included if you need to relax or want to go scuba diving or snorkeling (and your 2yo can't do that yet).
They also have special times set up just for single parents- so you can go hang out with other single parents like yourself. :-)
Thier web site is: www.beaches.com
Note: I live near sesame place and do not recommend it as a vacation destination. Its fine for maybe a day trip but not for a vacation. |
