Some where close to home? Or How far do you want to travel?
girls or boys? How much you have to spend? There are a lot of places you can go but it all depends on the likes and dis like of the kids and rather they are boys or girls and how far you willing to go and on the money you have to spend! So I just posted a few ideas that could be done close to home! I hope it helps and I hope you and your kids have a great time where ever you go! And Have a Safe Trip!
It really depends If you want to stay close to home:
try camping, at a Sate Park (both boys and girl will like it, but specially if they are both boys they would love it ) you can go hiking, fishing, swimming have a camp fire roast marshmallows!
Try your capital of your state (if you don't already live there) go to museums and place of interest that way they also can learn some history of they state they live in and have fun! Or go to a surrounding state where you live and visited their state capital!
Or rent a motel in a town that has a zoo, water parks, museums, amusement parks and just do something different everyday!
My husband and I had six kids 3 of each and they all loved to go camping the most! |

Depends on where you are from. I am from Wisconsin, and the Dells is a great place to take my kids. A lot of visitors from all over too- "Noah's Ark~America's Largest Water Park." And it's a LOT of fun-great for kids that age! |

There's this small town called Forks in Olympic National Park in Washington state. We went last year with my parents and took our 2 kids who were 11 and 2 at the time. We stayed in a suite that was very affordable and had a kitchen so we could buy food at the local grocery and prepare meals. It's within a few miles of beaches that you have to hike down to, only like 1 mile or less, and it's absolutely gorgeous. I think they probably also have horseback riding available and fishing as well. Much less crouded than Yellowstone. Seattle is also a good spot if you prefer city life. They have an awesome zoo and a cool aquarium that my kids loved. They also have a carnival at Seattle center with rides and an arcade. |

Chattanooga, TN is a great place. There is a huge aquariaum - The TN Aquariaum, a hands on museum aimed at kids - The Discovery Museum. a state park for camping, swimming, boating, hiking, a small amusement park - Lake Winneapesoka, there's Rock City which is fun to explore, and a lot more.
There's also alot for the adults.
Here's a website for information on some of what I've mentioned. Chattanooga is a beautiful city and not too expensive or crowded.

I would say anywhere you can go camping. Kids love to camp. There are state parks that have bike trails, walking trails, lakes for fishing and swimming. So much fun! |

Depends where you are. Children at the ages of 7-10 are still pretty young to take many places and get the full enjoyment from them. Look for someplace that caters to small children and that is easy and relaxed. Somewhere that is not too far away would help also. If you are anywhere west of the Rockies I would suggest San Diego. |

It depends on where you live. Most states have a website to check for local attractions in and around the state. With that many people, it would likely get expensive. Try camping or going to the lake for a vacation. Something that doesn't get so costly. Besides, family time togehter is what matters. |

We love Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. You can go online to myrtlebeach.com and it shows you what all there is to do. There is the beach, plus a lot of other attractions, shopping, eating places, etc... We just got back from there! It was great again this year! Good luck on finding the perfect vacation spot. Have fun! |

St. George Island, FL. You can rent a house for a week cheaper than a motel. You have a state park on one end with everything you could imagine to do. Then you also have the beach which is awesome. There are not alot of people to bother you. You can also see sea turtles, dolphins and crabs. You can also fish. We Love it. |

I am blessed to live in Northern California where the ocean meets the Redwoods. My kids love it here. We explore the forests and coast all the time and never get bored. The weather here is fantastic all year but May to Oct is best to avoid rain. |

Well, if you are close to Mississippi. Try Percy Quinn State Park in Fernwood, MS. They have a lake where you can water ski, fish, swim, but watch out for the gators! OH, and you can rent a nice cabin. Just an idea! |
