To put it simply, there is no one place. If you have the time and the money, I recommend a road trip across the country. I just got back from mine, actually, and I saw so many beautiful things. It depends on your tastes, and what you find beautiful. I saw places like the desert, the grand canyon, Niagara falls (you'll need a passport to visit the Canadian side of the falls, which is really pretty), prairies, the Rockies (that was very beautiful), and upstate New York in the countryside. |

There are soooooooo many beautiful spots in America that it would be hard to nail it down to one.
In the lower 48 my first pick is Yellowstone Natl Park but IMO some of the most amazing scenery is located in the two parts of the country that are seperate from the rest. Alaska and Hawaii |

New York. I don't know how beautiful San Diego is, but New York City is flipping gorgeous. You have great food, fashion, art, architecture, etc. Depends on what you like though. A lot of people call the city dirty but it's not that bad. |

You can go anywhere California if you are looking for beautiful nature.
You can go to New York City if you are looking for museums and buildings and pretty much everything else besides outside life. |

Among cities, Pittsburgh. Downtown Pittsburgh is located at the convergence of three rivers, and the whole area is located in the Allegheny mountains, so there's a lot of forested area, hills and beautiful scenery. It's my favourite place to go in the U.S. |
