So Cal: compton, skid row at night, San Bernadino, Watts (though its getting a little better), South Central, and various other places around LA depending on your nationality and the time of the day.
Nor Cal: Richmon, Oakland, Vallejo, Oak Pak, South Sac, Parts of Stockton Modesto and parts of Willows and the rural areas surrounding it. |

Compton, East LA, South Central, (the city council can change the name all they want, it will ALWAYS be South Central), Whitter, Downtown LA after dark, Skidrow over by Winegard Center at any time, Lynwood, Inglewood, parts of Santa monica, parts of West LA (below Santa Monica Blvd)
West Lake area near Alvarado and McArthur Park
KoreaTown area, especially around Vermont.
Echo Park area, especially after dark.
Did I miss anything? If you're white, stay the heck away from parts of Long Beach, blacks beat on whites.
If you are black, beware the Hawaiian Gardens area, the mexicans have been known to kill blacks there.
Whoever mentioned cemeteries, these are NOT that safe especially in any of the areas listed above as shooting matches have been breaking out at funerals and just at any old time as rival gang bangers come to pay respects to their dead hommies and take pot shots at rival gang bangers also there to do the same.
Also, if you see a lot of flashing light coming up behind you, get the heck out of the way! Right smack in the middle of a police chase is no where to be! |

Probably up in Hunter's Point (in the bay area, SF), or Richmond for NorCal and SoCal would be Compton, Watts, South Central, parts of east LA etc. (in other words, most of Los Angeles).
Also up and coming in the dangerous category is San Bernadino. Apparently our gangs have been outsourced to that area now and giving police a real run for their money. |
