I'd definitely say Central Park, it's perfect there.
Either by the rock near the Essex tower, it's a beautiful open space.
Or by Strawberry Fields. or the Alice statue.
Sit her on a mushroom or something. ^.^

I agree with Rockefeller Center and the Empire State building, but there's one omission: the middle of the Brooklyn Bridge. If you do this just as the sun is setting then it will be very romantic. |

At the present I wouldn't recommend the top of the Empire State Building. There are too many metal detectors that could possibly thwart your plan.
